On behalf of the Department of Periodontics and Dental Hygiene and the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston School of Dentistry, I would like to personally invite you to join us and celebrate the inaugural reception at our annual meeting introducing the UTHealth Periodontics Alumni Association (UTHPAA). I would sincerely appreciate it if you and your loved ones join us to reconnect with each other.
The mission of the Department of Periodontics and Dental Hygiene to be recognized locally, nationally and internationally for innovative and contemporary didactic and clinical education curricula, cutting-edge research and scholarly activity, compassionate patient care and service to the school and the community. We aspire to be the model program for the 21st century, dedicated to advancing the periodontal health of the people of Texas, the nation and our global community and we are working on multiple fronts to reach that goal.
You are an excellent example of the type of periodontist UT Houston is honored to be associated with and I am very proud to be part of this Department. I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us in the development of our Periodontics Alumni Association, one that will serve as a unifying force for bettering and nurturing the relationship between our residents, faculty, alumni and friends of the program.
